Rich-

If you go the 7600 or 6509-NEB-A route, you've got a couple options for
OC12. An older OSM-2OC12-POS-SI+ blade would save you probably ~$10k in
comparison to a new-of-life setup (7600-SIP-400 with SPA-1XOC12-POS
and SFP-OC12-IR1 optic). A chassis with dual SUP720-3BXL's, single OC12
card, and dual AC power might run you about $35k to $45k, respectively, on
the used market.

Mike's GSR idea would definitely be something to consider as well...since
you'd get a nice bang-for-your-buck on anything SONET. For example, a 4-port
OC12 blade (4OC12X/POS-I-SC-B,
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps6342/product_data_sheet0900aecd803fd7b9.html)
would run you less than a couple grand. Get an old chassis, toss in a
couple PRP-2's next to your OC12 blade, and you'd be looking at less than
$20k I'm guessing.
