I woulnt call a /16 with only 200 hosts a large broadcast domain.. I know of several
institutions (and their poor network admin) who have thousands of hosts in a flat /16
(and probably spend longer dealing with networking issues than they would take fixing
the whole state of affairs with proper vlans and subnetting ;-) )
