Hi,

any ideas what is the difference between "WS-X4306" and "WS-X4306-GB"
modules? "sh module" output from WS-C4506 switch:

WS-C4506#sh module 3
Mod Ports Card Type Model Serial No.
---+-----+--------------------------------------+------------------+-----------
 3 6 1000BaseX (GBIC) WS-X4306 JAE0645041H

M MAC addresses Hw Fw Sw Status
--+--------------------------------+---+------------+----------------+---------
 3 0007.eb96.9eb0 to 0007.eb96.9eb5 2.0 Ok

WS-C4506#sh module 4
Mod Ports Card Type Model Serial No.
---+-----+--------------------------------------+------------------+-----------
 4 6 1000BaseX (GBIC) WS-X4306-GB JAE07043GH1

M MAC addresses Hw Fw Sw Status
--+--------------------------------+---+------------+----------------+---------
 4 0011.bbe2.a370 to 0011.bbe2.a375 3.0 Ok

WS-C4506#

I checked the "sh platform chassis" and "sh platform hardware"
information plus compared "sh int Gi3/3 capabilities" and "sh int
Gi4/3 capabilities" output, but there seems to be no difference
between "WS-X4306" and "WS-X4306-GB"..

regards,
Martin
