Hi Tim,
Thanks for your reply. Yea a reboot unfortunately does not sort it out. Perhaps there are some other tests I can run from the router to see the status of it ?
Kindest regards

What happens when the FXS module stops working? I suspect that a simple reboot doesn't clear it up?

Subject: [cisco-voip] FXS module breaking
Hi guys,
A client of mine runs a Cisco 1700 series router with a FXS module in it to route VOIP traffic over his WAN.
The FXS module plugs into his PBX. The problem is that the FXS module keeps breaking every two weeks or so.
It just stops working. So far my client has been through 3 FXS modules in the last month or so.
It works perfectly for a while then just dies.
Any ideas what could be causing this ? A mis-match between his PBX and the FXS module that is popping it ?
Thanks in advance.
Kindest regards
David Wilson
