Erick,

Run the array utility and it will show you how it is configured. 
I got no other ideas off the top of my head on the led issues.

Unity VM only server. 

It has 2 drives and is RAID 1. Drives are in bay 0 and
1. 36.4 gig. 

I'm not sure how the array was setup at moment, as it
is a customers system and I didn't install it. Just
got a call on it. Will need to get access and see how
it is setup. I'm guessing the default factory setup.

Thanks for the info. Is there a way through the array
config tool to see if it is a hot spare?
