Dear jason,

The IP phone switch port must be configured as a trunk..Why? Because the COS
marking attached to the 3bits User priority of TCI 1byte of the ethernet
frame (802.1Q), or to the VLAN-ID 3 bits in the ISL header so if the port
not configured as trunk so the Filed that contain the COS will not be found
this is whay the IP Phone port must be configured as trunk port.
