[cisco-voip] MGCP on CCM 4.2

In the earlier part of this string, I saw that the voice gateway was
unable to download tftp configuration. I ran into a similar problem with
4.2 callmanager, where the gateway never registered with CCM. Check
ccm-manager status on the gateway (show ccm-manager) and ensure the tftp
configurations show "downloaded successfully". If not, Make sure you
have the following two commands in the running config:

ccm-manager config
ccm-manager config server xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (Ip of the callmanager's TFTP
server address)

If TFTP is sourced from the callmanager, make sure the TFTP service is
started.

are you binding mgcp to a loopback interface?

with that, do you have all the correct commands to ensure proper
operation? (config)

can ccm ping the loopback interface? (routing)

Do you have the GW Hostname in your HOSTS file on the CCM server, could
be a DNS issue.

Yes, all the standard MGCP commands are in as the gateway states it's
registered when I do a sho ccm-manager, also the isdn status is up so
the config had been downloaded. Just unable to get it registered on the
CCM.

The hostname has no periods and is also identical to the domain name on
the MGCP gateway configuration on CCM. I have also made sure that no IP
domain name has been configured, this is for BRI, does this make any
difference?

I'm having a little trouble getting a MGCP gateway working with CCM 4.2,
does anyone know if I have to use a minimum IOS, I currently trying with
12.3 (11)
