[cisco-voip] Unity - " Messaging serveer offline "

When you run the permissions wizard, how long does it take to grant
permissions to the message stores?

If it runs really quick, then you do have a permissions configuration
issue with the account running the permissions wizard.

With 5 exchange servers, it should take upwards of 4-5 minutes to run.

Thanks!
Matt

Subject: [cisco-voip] Unity - " Messaging serveer offline "

Hi All,

I have unity 4.0(3) intergrated with MS exchange 2003 that includes 5
mail servers and is all working fine at the time of installation.

Now exchange team added a new server and voice mails configured for
users. When they press the message button "Messaging server offline but
still unity plays the message ".

TAC told us to run the permission wizard ...ran this twice and made sure
that all the users of the mail server has the enough rights for Unity
accounts in AD towards the mail stores.

Please help me ........
