You will more than likely need a gatekeeper in this setup. The GK properly
handles the capabilities setup and manages the video endpoints more properly
than CM can directly.

Subject: [cisco-voip] H323 polycom videoconfernece in a CCM setup
Hi all,
here is a nice problem:
There is a CCM setup (4.1(3)) with ipphones configured with SCCP.
The gateway of the whole setup is configured as H323. So, the whole dialplan
is on this gateway.
There are a couple of VideoConference units (Polycom) that i want to use
them to call several IPphones whitch have VT Advantage.
When i registered the Polycoms as H323 devices on the call manager, and
without a Gatekeeper, i manage to make a video call from the VT advantage to
the Polycom. I could not do the reverse.
What is the correct setup to do such a thing?
Regards,
Anthony
