Hi,

Does using "ccm-manager fallback-mgcp" will retain the MGCP config for
fax as well? ie: using passthrough mode.

regards,
Robin

In general, You must not worry about SRST/ ATA will register.
But to save fax functionality you also must configure
ccm-manager fallback-mgcp

Subject: [cisco-voip] Using fax with ATA SCCP

I have MGCP/SRST gateway with ATA SCCP and a fax machine connect to it
in branch office. The CallManager is in HQ. When
SRST mode is active, I know IP Phones (SCCP) are able to register to
SRST gateway and still function properly. How about
the ATA? Does it able to failover/register with SRST gateway and
maintain my fax functionality during SRST mode? If not,
any suggestion to eliminate this problem? thanks
