Something similar is to use the WebSA interface and use the recorded name with the phone option to record files. The WebSA interface and mediamaster bar has some simple save as options. Works well.

Leave a voice mail in Unity, then go to Outlook Web access (http://[Unity Server IP]/exchange) and download the waves...

Believe it or not I finally got it! :) Got my hands on the perfect script, it is from an IPCC system I am very familiar with and it does pretty much exactly what I wanted.
So I just have to adjust things accordingly, add here, subtract there.. rename some things and record new wavs.
how do you typically record the wav files? Just from a computer, or phone or something? Is it just standard wav files?
