[cisco-voip] PRI to Nortel MICS PBX.

As anyone attempted this?
 
A customer of mine would like to integrate CCM and their existing PBX.
 
I was able to get physical connectivity with a T1 Crossover.  However
I'm having trouble getting layer 2 and the D channel up.
 
On debug isdn q921, I'm sending (TX) the link messages,
TX -> SABMEp sapi = 0 tei = 0

But receiving garbled RX replies. 
RX <- BAD FRAME(0x00017F)
 
The replies are the same as if the line were looped but the PBX guy says
they are not sending me a loop.  

I am providing clock from the router, and the pbx is clock source line.
Isdn switch type on both end:  tried NI2, and DMS-100. (same results)
B8ZS, and ESF (I verified both the PBX and router configs).

Any ideas on where to start troubleshooting this?
