[cisco-voip] Capacity of CCM Route Pattern

Alan,

The specific number of route patterns that can be configured depends  
on the platform, memory and additional factors. I have seen CCM  
deployments with literally thousands of Route Patterns with no  
obvious performance hit on the system.

It would probably warrant looking at your design to see if 1) you  
could combine Route Patterns and 2) if you really need that many  
route patterns.

Also, device extensions do not require Route Patterns, when you  
configure a Directory Number in CallManager, that DN is added to the  
Route Plan and no Route Pattern is required.
