  Subject: [cisco-voip] PC VLAN Problem

Recently we have installed Cisco 7912G and 7960G IP phone. Phone are
working fine without problem but I am not able to access the network
through PC which is connected to PC port on phone.

My IP phones VLAN is 192 and PC VLAN is 1.

I have old Nortel switches which does not have VoIP support. So I have
created a trunk port on Nortel switch which is member of both 1 and 192
VLAN. Another port, which is member of 192 VLAN, has been connected to
  uplink router for VoIP.

In 7960, I have configured administrative VLAN as 192 and PC VLAN as 1.

But still it does not work.

Please note that phone is working in above environment.

Is it mandatory to use Cisco switches to access PC port or will it work
  with non-Cisco switches also?

  Pl. help

  Regards.

  Arvind
