All of our FXS are on EVM-HDs, so I can't help you with the VG224. As
far as why they don't register, what we've found is that the router has
the annoying habit of deleting the 999200 auto-inserted dial-peers, so
it was deleting the destination patterns that we had in there for faxes.
So, for every 999200 dial peer, we made a 888200 dial peer, and put the
destination pattern into that. This way, our dial-peer was always in
there and wouldn't get deleted when MGCP hiccupped.
