Yes, slip seconds will cause problems with echo and other voice anomalies. Depending on Router Chassis, Cards and configuration of where any other clock sources are coming from this can be very easy or very difficult to fix. On this T-1 since it is set to receive clock from the line, is the other side infact set to generate clock, and if so where is it generating the clock signal from?

i have a problem with occasional echo on voip phone. while i was gathering info i came across the "slip sec" error. i found out what i means but is it critical? if so, how can i fix it?
