[cisco-voip] Who called 911 GOOD ADVICE FROM AN EXPERT - PLEASE READ!

The information that I was seeking yesterday yielded an amazing amount
of suggestions, all of which were helpful in many different ways for
different scenarios, but this one definitely proved to be very helpful.
It was counter-intuitive to me that "911" should be entered as an
"extension", but that's how it works. See below from a truly great
Cisco telephone engineer:
The most reliable way to search for specific calls is to use the CAR
CDR>Search by>User/Extension report. In this case, you enter 911 in the
Extension field, click Add Extension, set the from and to date/time, and
click OK.
This will generate a list of CDR records. Click the "View" link on the
right to bring up a window with the date and time of the call, duration,
and other pertinent information.
Use the CAR User Reports>TopN report to find the top N numbers by calls,
or by duration of calls. For outgoing calls, uncheck the Internal and
Incoming categories (and possibly On Net), select how many top numbers
you want to see in "No of Records", select the date range, and run the
report.
You can do lots of interesting things with the SQL Query Analyzer, but I
don't recommend using it unless you know SQL fairly well. You can quite
easily destroy part of your CallManager database with the wrong command.
Instructions on how to use the SQL Query Analyzer are beyond the scope
of maintenance services.

My 2cts..
From what i've found with CER, it can notify via email or it can call
specific numbers. The problem I have with the callout feature is that as
far as I can tell it will only specify the phone number that called
911.. which by itself in a large campus doesnt do our public safety much
good. They still have to go out to the webpage to see the location
information (which CER does generally do a good job of keeping track).
Have the info available on a phone screen is a REALLY good idea.

I want to say Emergency Responder has the capability to notify

were
you trying to avoid the Emergency Responder route?
