[cisco-voip] Cisco- Avaya -Echo cancellation / delay

Hi,

 

 Avaya – Cisco  integrated and able to allow incoming and outgoing calls from both side. 

 

Following are the bottle necks 

 

The call quality using the Cisco- Avaya is not good in the sense there is a noise in the line as if we are speaking in a long pipe.

 

The Incoming calls to our number or directly the IP phone from anywhere is delayed by 3 seconds during which either party could not hear. Avaya  logs are attached  

 

I have also tested the Soft Phone from Avaya and it has a better voice quality and works fine and there is no delay.  

 

Questions  

1.              Are CCM running Echo cancellation program to suppress the Echo. They have it in running in Avaya.

2.              How to find the why the delay happening in CCM side and how to resolve the same.
