12.4.8a has been very stable for us 

also I beleive that both of the IOS that you mentioned are affected by the 
latest cisco bug.

[cisco-voip] 2801 IOS






Hi,

Am running c2801-ipvoicek9-mz.124-2.T2.bin at a remote site but have no 
DTMF working. When upgraded to c2801-ipvoice-mz.124-4.T5.bin we got DTMF 
working but then had intermittent problems with one-way RTP. Anyone know 
of a good IOS version other than these two?
