The CAR admin(s) are specified in the
CiscoAdminRepToolAdminGroupUsers group in ldap. If you are using DCD
simply launch the DCD Administrator from Start->Programs. Login with
the username "Directory Manager" and whatever password you specified
during installation. Then expand Directory->cisco.com and select
Groups. Double click the CiscoAdminRepToolAdminGroupUsers group and
look at the "Member" line. This is the userid of the CAR admin. You
can modify this if you want but once you know the userid it is a
simple matter to reset the password via CCMAdmin.
If you are using AD or ND for ldap then the group will be in that
directory.

hi all --
I seem to have lost the password to the CDR on my 4.01 installation.
What account (and where) is that configured?
I don't mind resetting the password at all --- but I cannot recall
whether I'm looking for a specially configured user in Global Directory,
or a user in the Local Users and Computers tool within Windows 2000
on the CCM.
