[cisco-voip] MGCP PRI redundancy

Unknown on a MGCP endpoint means that endpoint has not been registered to call manager since the call manager service was last restarted, server reboot, etc. It will say not registered if the endpoint was registered at one point then became unregistered from call manager since call manager service was last started.

Can you post a 'show controller t1' and 'show isdn status' from the actual router/gateway?

Also post a config of the controller T1 interface and the D channel interface.

Erick

Go to to CCM - Device Gateways - Find... use the dropdown to
  show endpoints...

Anything say 'not
  registered'?

  Where

When you shutdown the interface
, did the endpoint unregister and show
unregistered?

Which version
    of 4.2, and IOS version?

Do calls work inbound on second PRI if it
has inbound numbers coming to it?
What happens if you flip the order of
the endpoints in the route group?

Did you make any changes to 2nd
endpoint and maybe not reset it for changes
to be
    effective?

All, I have CCM 4.2, and 3800 MGCP
gateway router connected with two PRI to
the local provider.

My
questions are how does th CCM handle the failover?
I have admin shut the
first controller and the calls now fail even thought
the second pri is
    up?

Is there anything else I need to do in the CCM? I have
    route list and the
two GW configured in the route group?

Thanks,
