Interesting. Installed 6 MCS 7845's this week and 3 failed on the first
try. A second try worked on all three.

I had this same error about 5 times last week. Never talked to TAC, but
I found formatting the disk from within the RAID utility fixed it.

Yeah, we ran into the same problem and that is what TAC told us to do.

Low level format the hard drives and start over... I have seen
this before... the LLF fixes it.

Anyone had any problems installing OS 4.3(a) on these servers?
I'm getting an error during the image transfer saying
"The transfer of the OD Image to the hard driver failed!
This can be caused by scratched or smudged DVD-ROM media or
A hardware failure within the servers"
The CD's are out of the box, never used. I've also tried to
install the 2.4 OS install, but that comes back saying that this OS
doesn't support the hardware.
Before I go back and get another copy of the CD's.. is there
something I'm doing wrong?? I've installed a few CCM's but never come
across this before.
Any help out there?
Cheers,
Johnny
