[cisco-voip] CCME 4.0 7936 conference phone voice quality problems

I'm having trouble with a 7936 conference phone and
its voice quality. Under CCME 4.0(0), all other
phones' voice quality is very clear. 

I am tempted to flash it with a newer firmware but am
a little concerned about bricking the phone as newer
firmware for the phone is not available for CCME
4.0(0) but I could still get firmware for CCM.

Any suggestions?
