[cisco-voip] Viewmail vs. Media Player for Unified Messaging???

Is it possible to eliminate viewmail in the unified messaging
environment?  I was under the impression that viewmail was a necessary
part of the setup.

Can you provide a list of the functionality provided by ViewMial vs.
using Media Player?  My IT department is considering eliminating
Viewmail from the new Citrix environment and we need to know what
options will be lost.
