Hand him some configuration information (Put this IP on this interface, use
vlans XXX, etc) a few routers and some other gear w/ access to Google and
say "Configure this... When it's done, use the phone to call me and let me
know that you're done"

Works pretty well for cutting through the BS... Lets you know if they
actually know what they're doing or not, and with Google they should be able
to do just about anything...
