Amen!

It's not specific to AC. I've used BC HG to provide an overhead ring via an
FXS port, while also needing it ringing on phones without the limitation of
the one call on the FXS port. Works ok. There are some caveats with pickup
groups on calls distributed via a hunt group, but I believe there's a
service parameter you can enable to make the HP member of the PG.
