Yes that is an option but we have thousands of trees so we are trying to
avoid manually if at all possible.

Is there a possibility of connecting this via an analog port to an FXO or
FXS port or ports? If so , you could dial into the Octel from a Cisco IP
phone, conference in Unity, and have the recording. Better still, you could
have the users do that.

In bulk? I wouldn't knowJ

Probably not too helpful, but I had one customer do this with two phones.
He'd call into Unity with one to record a message, then hold the Avaya phone
up to the Cisco phone and literally play the message from one phone to the
other. Wow, great recording quality. Especially when you can hear him in
the background asking the people around his cube to be quiet.. J

We have a situation where we have an Octel that is about to die. We would
like an automated way to grab the recordings off of the Octel. Manually is
an option but there are literally thousands of trees in addition to
thousands of user voicemail recordings. Has anyone had to do something
similar to this before? If so would you mind sharing some pointers on how to
do it?

Thanks

Curt
