Oh yeah… if you use voice-view, that is pretty much disabled with the ip http server as well.

You definitely need the CME gui section configured:

Cisco Unity Express has lost contact with the Host router.

Ensure that you have enabled the CallManager Express GUI and can connect to it using this browser using the same credentials you are providing below. You may need to copy the GUI files on the CME flash and enable the HTTP server on the CME router. CUE does not support HTTPS access to the CME GUI.

Enter the new CCME Web Administrator user name and password

That’s the output you’ll get without it configured, CUE relies on that section, but builds on to create the rest of the web page that is used to administer the voicemail and portions of CME.

Hi,
in the first question it requires two answers!
As far as the gui of the CUE:
 is there any connection between CUE gui and CME gui files or ip http server  command in IOS?
I mean, if no ip http server exists in CME or cme gui files are missing, is there a problem with CUE gui?

Hi,
i am having the 642-144 exam tomorrow (Cisco IPTelephony Express) and there are three questions that i cannot decide what is the correct answer.
Can someone reply to these? Thanks a lot:

1.
CME standalone connected to PSTN network. Administrator needs fax services. What is the 2 best implementations:
A. FXS and FAX machine (That is correct for sure since it supports T.38, fax-passthrough and Fax-relay)
B. FXO (of course not)
C. ATA configured with SIP (No i guess)
D ATA configured with H323 (Yes?) I know it supports only fax-passthrough
E ATA configured with SCCP (Yes?) I know it supports only fax-passthrough

Which of D, E is correct?

2.
Where do the CUE gui files reside?
I think it is the router's flash but i keep seeing answers saying CUE's Flash
And also, i think that you must have ip http server in IOS CME to have CUE gui. Or not?

3.
What is the default mailbox selection for CUE (either PBX or whatever)
 Original Called Party i think, but...
i have seen also the answer "Last redirecting party"
