[cisco-voip] Antw: QoS SRND ver 3.3

30 min?

Unless I'm underestimating (this is my first attempt) I was thinking the LAN
QoS should take 5 to 10, depending on how many ports you had to reconfig.

3550 shouldn't take 5 minutes.

6500 should take about 5 (guessing).

Unless the ESW gives you fits, that's just like configuring the 3550.

So I would think 15 minutes at the outside and that's ABOUT in line with the
4 minutes per point strategy.

Yeah, the audio book is referring to an older version of the QoS SRND... so,
you can't just copy the QoS from it any more... kinda sux for us.

Then again, I just read a thingy on CCBootcamp and it says to blow off the
LAN QoS... it is prob only 3 points and takes 30 mins... not cost
effective...

Yeah, exactly what I was looking at. Mark Snow makes reference to specific
lookup sections in his audio book, but I can't find reference to them on
that sheet.

For example, he references the guide for '6500 as an access layer switch'.
