[cisco-voip] Unity Connection 1.2.1SR1 versus Unity Connection 2.1

I found a End of Sale/End of Life meaning no more 1.2, somehow the order
for this customer got into Cisco when it should not have be
orderable...I had a 2.1 media and re-installed the server.

I think I was confused as I had never worked with 1.2 yet somehow this
new server came preloaded with 1.2 (UC1 versus UCA1).

2.1

How should one decide on ordering Unity Connection 1.2.1SR1 (Windows
2003) versus Unity Connection 2.1 (Linux) ?

If you deployed a new system today would Unity Conneciton 1.2.1SR1 be
like deploying Callmanager 3.x, a waste of time?

I got a UC1 server on a new order, and wonder if they meant to order a
UCA1 server? I thinking it was a ordering mistake...
