[cisco-voip] announciator service on CUCM !!!

the only problem here is..

if you do it with file " Ann-VCA.ulaw.wav " which says that famous " you're
call cannot be completed ...... "..

i think it works..

but then you have problem with dial-plan announcments..

but i'm not shure can we do it with some other file, which isn't used that
often..some MLLP file or something..

what whould be cause for blocking call in that way?..

that's what i've been looking for..

how did you've achieve that?..

only thing it comes sto my mind is to record that prompt..

save it as one of the names in ANN..

upload it and use MOH translator to convert it..

and the have RP which blocks call for some reason..

or did you do something different..

In the past, I've set up a route pattern to match 2XXX and send it to the
annunciator for the "you misdialed - nobody has the extension " so that when
extensions are unused automatically get the message.  Takes advantage of
best matches since an extension that DOES exist will ring the phone.

out of the box, callmanager doesn't do anything like that.

might try one of the announcer products from viking.

If you have voicemail you can redirect the calls to an announce only vm box.

hi group..

does anybody knows how to provide announciator service to callers which call
certain DID range which still ain't in service..

so, the call flow would be:

1. somebody calls certain DID number

2. announciator tells them " This number is not in use at the moment, please
try XXXXXX "

3. the call ends..

of course it would be easy to do with IPCCX express or IVR, but only thing
we have is CUCM, does anybody has idea..
