Cisco acs does command accounting with tacacs. Maybe there is an open source tacacs around.

There is also an ios feature that logs config commands to syslog. Lookup "configuration change logging and notification" on CFO

Has anyone seen a command logger for IOS? I know there are many config difference engines. I have also implemented accounting that will state in the log that the configuration has been changed. What I am specifically looking for is to log ever command in the log so it can be sent to a syslog.

Ex. User X enters ‘conf t’

Syslog ‘User X has entered conf t’

Any ideas are welcome. Thank you.
