I believe you need Exchange 2k7 SP1 to be fully 2008 compatible.

Does anyone know if Windows 2008 OS is supported for the Domain
Controllers and the host OS for Exchange 2007 in a Unity deployment?  

I didn't think it would matter what OS the DC/GC were as well as the
host OS for the Exchange boxes but wanted to make sure.
