[cisco-voip] CSCsj37081 ?

You need SR7 to get the full fix.

Basically the new CDP driver should be copied to both C:\Program Files
\Cisco\Bin\ and C:\WinXX\System32\Drivers.The fix for CSCsj37081 is
version 4.0.0.1 and was only copied to C:\Program Files\Cisco\Bin\
and so wasn't getting used by the OS.

The fixed version is 43.2Kb with a modified date of 7/16/2007. If
you don't want to upgrade to SR7 just make sure that driver (cdp.sys)
is present in both locations.

We believed we were hitting CSCsj37081 a few months ago and moved to
SR6 to work around it.
We are hitting something very similar again. Now when I look at the
bug it mentions it is not fixed
till SR7 and there is another bug id mentioned CSCsk10239.

In the original bug it mentions that if the CDP driver is 4.0.000.00
then you will be ok. We
are running a later version. So with the two bug id's I am confused.

1. Is it not fixed in SR6 ?
2. Is there a way to verify the conditions , given we are running
later version cdp.sys ?

Thanks & Regards
Kevin
