I looked through the document and found 2 different part #’s 740064-770 and 470064-770 for the same server HP DL380-G5 Server with Xeon 5140 2.33-GHz Processor. Does anyone know which is the right one? It looks like a typo but the mistake was made twice so not sure.

On the www.cisco.com/go/swonly<http://www.cisco.com/go/swonly> page for hp they have a specific special order number listed for a compatible version with the right hardware already included. If you give that to hp they are supposed to be able to find and order it

Has the HP sales people you folks work with been good with making sure you get exactly the right part numbers and following through with the order to make sure everything is compatible? We don't have an HP contract so i've never worked with them. With our IBM rep i sent the exact part numbers from the compatibility list and the guy came back and told me they didnt sell that hardware anymore, but seemed willing to try to sell me some servers that were not exactly right "but they would run faster anyway". Never mind the actual lack of any kind of support from Cisco for them.

I need to replace 4 7845's coming up this fiscal year... gonna look at ordering direct from HP this time.

When you provide your own hardware (HP) I assume the only difference is that you don't have the hardware support from Cisco. Is the software support on the applications still the same when you use your own hardware?
