Thanks for the tip.  cmterm-7975-sccp.8-4-1SR1.cop.sgn was released yesterday and the shadows are gone. W00t!

The phone firmware releasing with CUCM 7.0 (8.4.1) will remove this. There is no way to remove it on earlier loads.
