[cisco-voip] Cisco - Click to Dial - caution when using Exchange 2003

We found out the hard way that Click to Call seems to have issues with
Exchange 2003.  In fact, it wouldn't work for us when we upgraded our
phone system from CCM 4.1 to CUCM 7.  There was a MSFT "fix", but it
broke as many things on the desktop as it fixed. 

Supposedly, there is no problem at all with Exchange 2007, but folks
would be well-advised to check it out before abandoning the Cisco TSP.
Our desktop pros found a way to make the TSP work for CUCM 7 after a
week or so, but it was not an easy process after initially believing
that Click to Call would work on our system without issue.  We have
about 1000 internal customers (users).

With CCM 4.2 the only Outlook dialing you get is via the Cisco TSP.
It's
not TAC supported and I don't think the doc is on cisco.com any longer
but
Google should turn up some info for you.  The Click to Call "widget" you
can
download from cisco.com only works with CUCM 5.1 and later.
