[cisco-voip] DTMF Tone problem?

We had similar problem, was due to firmware on phones.  We had
7945/65/75 running (I think) version 8.4.3 or 1 earlier.

Upgrade phones to newer firmware, problem fixed.

 

When users used the speaker phone to press keys for automated system, it
would not work or generated wrong DTMF tones.

If they used the handset, it worked fine.

 

May not be the same problem your experiencing but HTH.

I have had a few problem calls today regarding callers not being able to
choose options from menus when they are calling out.  The tones are not
being recognized.  The problems are intermittent.  Anyone familiar with
this problem?
