The latest 7.1(2) base release is missing an underscore in the name...I posted to the list earlier. I had to add the underscore in the filename for the upgrade process to see the files.

Thanks guys. I downloaded the files from Cisco website, merged both the files and verified the MD5 sum of the final file is correct. Mounted the ISO file onto a Virtual Drive and have setup a FTP server to pull the files. Now at this stage I still get the “No valid upgrade options were found. “ error. I will try copying it onto a DVD later this evening and see if it works.

You can also use an FTP or SFTP server to pull the file. I find burning then reading 2.4GB DVDs rather slow compared to a gigabit ethernet connection.

You have to combine both files into a single ISO file. Then burn that ISO image into a DVD.

Guys,

I am trying to do a OS upgrade (COS_7.1.2.10000-16.sgn) on the CUCM-7 server from OS Administration page, I am getting the following error message:

“No valid upgrade options were found. “

I have downloaded 2 ISO files from Cisco.com and copied both into DVD’s. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Kiran
