It's a price point issue actually. The ARC licenses are pretty expensive for something that used to be free.

Should work and is supported for upgraded systems.  That said 7.x was  
the first shot at getting rid of the thing entirely so I'd highly  
recommend your customer start evaluating other options.

Attendants. He is migrating to CCM 7.1 and I know that the Attendant  
Consoles work and are supported as long as they are migrated from 6.1.
