John,

The gripe about 15.x code being licensed is completely unfounded.

I am a consultant so end up dealing with it first hand every day.  Yes it
sucks that we now need to go through the process of license activation.
However the only reason that is the case is because of people not following
the rules to begin with.

Also as long as the box is ordered correctly to begin with the license is
already activated from the factory.

The only people they hurt when they moved to this model were people who
simply stole the code to begin with.  The only exception is when a device
goes RMA you must work with TAC to get the license rehomed.  However you are
already working with them to get a replacement device so they take care of
it right away anyway.
