[cisco-voip] Passwords on Meetme

I’ve actually had several companies enable Dial-In Conferencing from their existing Lync infrastructure to replace the lacking MeetMe features.  So on one hand, they reduce functionality to push the companies to use something better, oftentimes it’s not a Cisco product that they change to.  Like shooting yourself in the foot.

It would be interesting to see if a combination of loop back inter cluster or SIP trunks could be used for this, removing Unity from the equation, but still providing password protection. A route pattern could be set up which requires an FAC or CMC.
