While no one like the Cisco prices for flash (and memory for that matter) it
seems a false economy when you have bought very expensive high-end hardware
to skimp on the flash!

Around $100, which is way less than what you pay for "certified" disks. As
far as I know Flash ATA is a standard so any disk should work, right?
