        What image is this router running?

        Have you contacted TAC?

        This seriously sounds like a memory leak issue.

        Do you get any log messages?

        I do not believe that the SRAM is upgradable on the RSP
based routers, but it is on the individual VIP's in the box,
and on the NPE's in the 7200 series.

        I would suspect that you have a HIP or AIP in the box that
if it were converted to a VIP based board, that would fix the
problem.
