I have a strange requirement to run 'double NAT'. Basically a customer wants
'net services from us <the ISP> through/via a private wireless network
provider <the dodgy service provider>. We have allocated them a global /24
which is to be NATed on our router to a 10.150.0.0 network. We have
'overloaded' the NAT to the single private WAN interface address.
At the end of the private network we have to NAT the IP addresses back to
globally routable addresses -again 'overloaded' on the single global
interface and out to the 'net. With the 'correct' static routes in all the
participating routers, everything seems to be working fine.
Just wondering if it is really working fine and if there is anything we have
missed out here. Anything at all overlooked/not thought of?
Thanks in advance.
