Brad and Bruce,

sorry for wordy question which only confused you. I was only looking for the
corresponding config/procedure on a Nortel box of a customer to peer with
my Cisco.

on my end, I have
neighbor x.x.x.x remote-as ASN
neighbor x.x.x.x description Customer 1
neighbor x.x.x.x peer-group myPeers

there's no problem on my side. My customer only wants help on how
to configure his router for BGP (for whatever reason)...

can't run debug also on a production router...

if you can send samples for a Nortel 18000, i'd appreciate it.

thanks!

tito
