Purchased some "previously enjoyed" Cisco 802 routers for CPE ISDN termination.
unfortunately the seller did not remove passwords prior to shipping. Normally
no biggie (have had to reset passwords on 26xx series routers, and 53xx NAss on
numerous occasions), but the 802s in question do not seem to be recognizing the
break sequence to give access to ROMMON.
After trying to send the break we normally do, went through and mapped several
others, including reconfiguring the console serial connection to simulate the
break as described in documentation, all to no avail.
Before shipping these back to the seller and demanding he wipe them, any
alternatives?
Thanks
Dave
