policy on spam

as some of you may know, a message leaked out to the list
yesterday.

as it turns out, the reply-to: address was matched
as being on the 'accept' list. (someone subscribed it) and
smartlist matched that as an acceptable reason to pass the
message to the list.

i have since modified smartlist to prevent this as well as
removing the offending address and will look at my logs
to figure out where that came from and hunt them down.

aside: please report leaks or abuse to abuse@puck.nether.net
and not via the more obnoxious 3rd party reporting systems..
abuse.net is ok, but spamcop.net in my experience is unrelaible and
may go to /dev/null

we now resume you to your regularly scheduled cisco
messages.
