that you're turning the packet around to be sent back out the
same wire that it came from, when it's optimal to keep traffic
destined for the wire that it originates on on that wire.
isl or .1q trunking to aggregate ethernets is very valid, but
things like having half of your network on a secondary or general
bad design really aren't.
