Rich,

Are you looking for something that tells when a feature was added, and to
which version(s) it was added? I'm not sure that there is a document
available like this.

A good general starting place for your IOS search is:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/732/releases/index.html

Also, there is a product notice that gives IOS features from 10.3 through
12.0, but it is really for mainline releases:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/cc/cisco/mkt/ios/rel/113/prodlit/705_pp.htm

So, for example, the features added to 11.1CC, they show up in this document
as 12.0 features, since that's when they were added to the mainline code.

See http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/pcat/216.htm for more info.

Also, Product Bulletin 705 lists software features added in a release, but
it doesn't list hardware supported in a release. You'll need to go either
to the specific product documentation (GSR linecard doc, 7500 VIP2 PA doc,
etc), to see when it's supported.

Of course, there are the "Holy Grail Pages"...

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/PSP/index.pl?i=Hardware

and

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/front.x/Support/HWSWmatrix/hwswmatrix.cgi

I believe that you'll need to have registered access to get to these.

Good luck,

-rb

PS: What happened to mirror-image.com?
